It's that time where I'm flailing about trying to figure out what to nominate for Yuletide. I was going to nominate Prometheus, but someone else has that covered. She also had a slot open to nominate Janek, so all the characters I was thinking about are in. With only being able to nominate three fandoms, I feel like I want to get the most bang for my buck.
Two people are nominating Grimm but NEITHER of them are nominating Monroe. WTF? So I might have to burn a slot just to get him into the character pool. There's a person who is nominating Haven, but she only nominated Dwight and Nathan. I asked if she could add Duke and Audrey, but another person asked her to add Audrey and the real Audrey who showed up, got amnesia, and left. So if Duke doesn't get added, I'll need to burn a slot to nominate him. Both these things make my very grumpy.
Apparently, Once Upon a Time is not rare enough to qualify anymore. Neither is Babylon 5. Bah.
However, The Hobbit should qualify, since the film is new this year. I'm not sure how having pre-existing works will impact its eligibility. However, I'm going to nominate Hobbit RPF. Anyone else thinking about doing so, and if so, we can collaborate on how to use our slots.
What else are y'all thinking about nominating? Desperately seeking ideas.
