I'm rather surprised I missed that too. It's just the sort of story that would have captured my sense of the ridiculous and absurd. I could barely read the lines that the porter accused him of saying--something along the lines of "Please fuck me now. I need you to fuck me, and I'll make it worth your while"--without LOLing all over the place.
Poor Sean. I know that characterization bothers caras_galadhon a lot.
