Celebrating and Geekdom...

I spent the day--the part when I wasn't working or taking the dog to the vet to have his anal glands expressed--delivering grades to my various schools, and I can now say that I am...officially...absolutely...totally...DONE!!!

I am also officially a total geek. One of my celebratory gestures was running to my local multiplex of choice and buying a ticket for the midnight show of _Episode 2_. Notice how everyone is calling the new movie _Episode 2_ because they all feel that _Attack of the Clones_ is just really too damn silly to say?

OK, why I am going to this movie at midnight, subjecting myself to a day of hellish sleep deprivation at work the following day? Well, I saw _The Phantom Menace_ at midnight, and it was COOL. Folks were dashing about dressed up as storm troopers. before the movie started a guy dressed like a Jedi and one dressed like Vader were fighting with plastic light sabers in the front of the theatre. People were cheering them on. Though once the movie started, the theatre was SILENT.

I'll admit I have reservations. But I guess I'll let you all know what my final verdict is on Thursday.
