My new toy writing/teaching aid arrives tomorrow. Dell Inspirion 8500. 15.4" widescreen display. 10GB HD. 328MB RAM. 64MB video card. CD burner/DVD. Optimized for gaming and multimedia applications, baby.

Have already bought it gifts-nice, roomy carrying bag; trendy, travel-sized optical mouse. OK, so I also bought the new version of the Mahjong game I have. This one lets you design your own tilesets. Heh. Am already planning a Sons of Gondor tileset, though I doubt the LotR themes will stop there. Hell, I could make sets from so many movies, like Legend, Excalibur, Labyrinth, Dark Crystal or TV shows Buffy, Farscape, B5, SG1....

Um, would this be another of those roads to the big heat?
