October, October...

I don't know how it's past the midpoint of the month already. October has been flying by for me. Between work and school, I barely have time to squeeze in anything else, even though I have to do things like chores and try to keep up on the television series I watch. Those are precious few anymore.

I've not been posting a lot, and my commenting has been spotty, but I am reading my flist every day to keep up on what you all are doing.

New things for October for Barb. I'm trying Twitter, which I mostly use when I'm iPhoning. Microblogging isn't as painful on the wee touchscreen as writing a longer post would be. My hair is much shorter and sexier than before. It is also more red. Not that wine color most of you who've seen me in real life know. This is more a garnet color. I'm...not sure about it. However, I also have a section that is purple now. Not the wine, but amethyst colored. I like it a lot.

I rewatched Iron Man and A History of Violence so I could teach them. There is a government class in my room after me, and the students have started chatting me up as I'm packing up when they arrive based on the cool and often weird shit that is on the board after I teach. "Cheerleader Roleplay Sex" was one of the things this week.

And very soon I shall be off to the World Fantasy Convention where I will get to see caras_galadhon, hederahelix, brodeurbunny30, and ashinae. I've met the first two in real life, and I'm looking forward to meeting the others.
