The world today is blanketed in white here on the North Shore. We've had snow warnings this winter, but none of them delivered as promised. This storm did. We got about 12 inches of light, fluffy flakes. Last night, when they were fresh and new, they glittered like crushed diamonds in the security lights from the buildings. Sure, it's pretty then, but not so nice today driving in it.
I should have stopped at Best Buy for the new movies of the week last night, but I was too tired after the workweek from hell. So I braved the elements for Seasons 1 and 2 of The Tudors (because it just looks so damned pretty) and Seasons 2.5, 3, and 4 of Battlestar Galactica. Yes, I sorta fell behind on that one. I got the gift set of Season 4, and I really like my Starbuck dog tags.
Today, before the playoffs, I made a list of fics I really should write (excluding W/S/F), and I now have a corral of nine bunnies in seven fandoms. On one hand, this is a good thing. I have ideas jotted down so I don't lose them, and I can't say that I need to wait for the Muse to give me some writerly mojo. On the other hand, I worry about having the time to show the wee bunnies the love they deserve.
And if I don't, will they turn on me in my sleep? Devour me with their little bitey teeth? With my bunnies, I worry they might.
