Work Rage...

So you know my team mate at work who has been out for three full week now? The first two he was back in Ohio "working" from his dad's house. Not from the Ohio office. From his house. He didn't have to take any time off. This week, week 3, he took personal time. And now, just this morning, he emailed my boss and said he is taking next week completely off too.

Now close your eyes, and imagine the look on my face at this news. Go ahead. It's not hard.

Yes, next week will be a crispy bowl of hell, just like this week. Except I have more deadlines to meet, and I'm falling behind on my shit because of having to pick up all of his. My fear is that with Labor Day coming up, he'll decided to stay up there the week of the 27th too, since he will get bonus extra day off on Labor Day. Since I'm going to be off that Friday (and probably Thursday morning to register) for DragonCon, I'm concerned.

And no, I'm not going to skip DragonCon because of someone else's month-long sabbatical.

Tomorrow, I'm going to go pick up my copy of The Hunger Games and possibly see Paranorman because I was some light, relaxing fun, god damn it!
