Okay. Yes, that last post was brought to you by me losing track of time. Ah, Saturday, how you flew by. I managed to recover from my week by sleeping in, picking up my Hunger Games pre-order, and getting an urban fantasy, which I promptly devoured whole after I got home.
I'm also one graphic away from finishing a 10 graphic challenge in the OUaT landcomm. Graphics, well, they aren't my strong suit, but my competitive nature won't let me throw away points that could be helping my team, so I've been working and learning, and
caras_galadhon says the things I'm making don't make her eyes bleed. I guess that means I'm improving. Bit by bit. I've graduated from simple cropping and slapping text on an image. Yay!
When going to pick up my movie, I feel into the fan trap and shelled out an additional $5 for the BluRay/DVD combo pack collectors edition in a cool box with a flaming mockingjay paperweight inside. There were only two left. So I picked one up. Just to carry it around and think about whether I needed it. Note to self: Once you've touched it, it's as good as bought.
The book I devoured in about 2.5 hours was Tate Hallaway's Precinct 13. It's full of interesting characters and some unusual takes on magic. It isn't deep or darkdark, but it's a fun read. I'm likely to check out other offerings from the author based on this book.
Tomorrow (or today, I suppose, though it really isn't tomorrow until after you sleep, no matter what time you go to bed) is catch up on things day.
