DragonCon Update...

OMG! I'm soooooo TIRED. Yesterday was a bit of a let down for me at the con, but today made up for it. And then some. Quick highlights of the day:

The trainwreck (and dirty story) that was Gillian Anderson's session.

The OMG!AWESOME of the OUaT actors. God, they were FABULOUS!

The OMG!AWESOME of the LOTR actors: Part Two. I swear to god, Craig Parker was the stuff of naughty dreams in that panel. And there was a slasher fangirl moment of EXTREME glee. And he mentioned Viggo. ^_^

Mira Furlan is lovely and wonderful.

I have an octopus to wear in my hair. This makes me happy.

I have an Arkenstone, Key of Thror, and Smaug ring. I also have an I <3 Hot Dwarves button. Gearing up for The Hobbit. The TORn folks gave me a Dwarf pin even though they were sold out. THANKS, TORn! You guys rock!

I am a tired and happy fangirl at the moment. Tomorrow will be the last of the con, and then more detailled reports. Promise.

Good God, Do I Have to Go to Work Tomorrow?

I am so very, very, very tired. I'm in that post-con funk that happens after all cons where you want to go back and immerse yourself in conspace instead of the mundania of the working world. *sigh* I wish I could have taken tomorrow off to ease in the transition.

Monday is always a slow and sad con day. The crowds have thinned significantly, and the celebs are gone or leaving. There are fewer panels, and while there are still good ones, there's that lingering bittersweetness to them, the sense that they are ticking down to the end.

More about the con tomorrow. I'll try to at least post a bit about the celebs of various stripes and Hobbit gossip. I took detailed notes. Very detailed notes. ^_^
