I love real winters so I definitely understand. We don't get a real winter here that much either, it's kind of hit or miss. What we do get a lot more than snow is ice and I hate ice. If I were independently wealthy I'd move back to upstate NY where we consistently got snow every year.
And I'm a Giants fan so the playoffs have been quite incredibly wonderful to me. :-)
