More storm and flash flood warnings here tonight. Oddly, the worst of the storms must have moved around me, since I didn't even hear any thunder. Not that I'm complaining, mind. Bad storms overhead tend to fuck with the cable, and I didn't want to miss So You Think You Can Dance tonight. Yes, it was a good ep. I think there were better dancers in other cities, but it was entertaining and moving, and having Adam Shakman back to judge was awesome. Yay!
At work, they're likely moving my lazy peer and I again. I've been there like 2.5 years, and this is the third fucking move. And move back to the first place where I started. During that same time, I've reported to four different people. My job hasn't changed radically in terms of what I do or my level, except that I'm now doing more with the same title and same pay. Well, reasonably same title. I've had three of those in the last 2.5 years too. Four if you count the official company level title that puts me in a pay grade but isn't really what I do.
Also, because I know y'all want to know, OMG! I JUST HAD TO SPLATTER A GIANT WATERBUG!!! GAH!!! What's worse, it's stuck to the wall, and the legs were all a bit twitchy, so I need to leave it for a bit until I work up the courage to try to remove and dispose of it.
On a lighter note, Ripley is busy burying a baby. She is on the ottoman tonight, and she is sitcking it into the rumpled afghan and then using her head to push the afghan over it to completely bury it. And now she is lying next to the mound of afghan, giving me the stinkeye as I go, "Where's your baby? Where is it?" Clearly. Not. Impressed.

At least if you ever have to hide a body, Ripley will have had lots of practice... at least if you're going to hide it in the couch.
