The only good thing about this Monday is that tomorrow is Friday for me and a long stretch of time off lies before me. I hope the giant dead roach I found in the hall isn't an omen for how the week is going to go. Perhaps like the deaths of famous people, horrific bug encounters come in threes, and this is the last of my trilogy of terror.

In other news, I moved cubes at work, including relocating all my hardware and reconnecting my computer and phone to the network. Go me. I also finished the three things from week-end and month-end from Friday that didn't get done on Friday. Go me squared.

At home, I trimmed Ripley's nails, including the hellishishly hard-to-get-to dew claw that was never removed when she was a wee pup. I did, however, nip into the quick on one nail, so I was wrapping her paw an puttig pressure on it...while she was eating the nail clippings around her. *sigh* Eating the equivalent of toenails is not nice.

Other than that, I had my double-dip of Gordon Ramsey, which always makes Mondays a little bit nicer. However, I have to say that the increasing number of "To Be Continued" two-parters on Hell's Kitchen this season is irksome. I want to know someone is going to be cut at the end of the hour. That's fair, isn't it?

I have a confession to make. I've also been pouring over TomKat break-up stories with intense fascination. Oh, and just how the fuck did I miss the multiple sexual assault charges against Travolta filled by male masseurs and a male porter?

I do hope that was the last in your buggy trilogy of terror. Ick.

Oh, TomKat... *sighs over them* I've been secretly obsessed with them from the beginning. I seriously am surprised that they didn't last longer (I must be crazy!). Anyway, yes, lots of interesting stories out right now.

I've been reading A LOT about them in the last four days or so. I guess I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did, not because of them as people, but the Scientology stuff that started bubbling up around the time she was pregnant with Suri made me go O_O.

If the reports are true and Tom was planning on sending Suri off to their one center, I can see why Katie would get her and her child out.
