Oh, Project Runway, I'm happy you have a more interesting and diverse set of designers than you have for many seasons, though I'm sad that you--and by "you" I mean you, Nina and Michael--still value the conservative over all. I'm not sure a Jay or Christian could win the show anymore given the way the judges tastes have fossilized. I'm also a bit perplexed why this season seems to demand a real guest judge (a designer) and a celebrity judge. Not all the challenges, but enough to be annoying.

Someone at work in the FL office has a domesticated silver fox for sale. It's...very cute. Gets along well with other housepets and is leash trained. There's a close-up pic of it and one where it's lying up on top of the back couch cushions with it's bat ears all perked out and its fluffy foxy tail hanging down. The cuteness of the fox, it tempts me. However, having been an owner of an exotic pet, I know upkeep can be challenging. Luckily, I had a vet close by who was familiar with exotics, and I never had to board the ferret. I'm guessing the vet would be the only place I could.

We had a few waves of storms pass through today, enough that lights at work flickered but did not go out. I suppose it's bad of me to wish for a power outage so I could come home, huddle with the wee hound, and listen to the rain.

My right wrist has been aching a bit the last few days. It has a low-grade ache that is more troubling at night when I'm trying to get to sleep than it is during the day. I've put on the wrist wrap I use for the long drives home, and the support seems to be doing it a wealth of good. I rather wish I wasn't typing so much during the day so that it had more of a chance to rest. Perhaps I'll request an adminstrative assistant to see to my needs.

I think I'm reaching Olympics overload. That never seems to happen during the Winter Games, but the Summer Games go on for so much longer that I find myself faltering toward the end. Maybe this weekend I'll actually emerge and go to see a movie for a change of pace.

I hear tell the barks on the foxes are really annoying to deal with though, worse than chihuahuas. They look so pretty, but I know that is one downside.

Storms are everywhere! It's a rain party and everyone is invited!

Oh dear. They are yappy little bastards, hmm? Sadly, I think they are also illegal in Georgia. *sighs*
