So I went to Trader Joes yesterday hoping for those lovely truffles that ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
hederahelix introduced me to, and though I prowled the candy isle several times, I could not find them. Not to be so easily thwarted, I asked the guy at checkout. He had to ask another guy, but they told me that the truffles were...seasonal? That they only had them for Christmas.
hederahelix, does that sound right to you?
Perhaps it's simply a conspiracy to keep those of us in Ohio truffle-less. Very sad state of affairs. The good thing was that I got two boxes of Luna bars, the s'more and dulce de leche (which are as good as promised).
For all of you who have been Trader Joes shoppers longer than I, I am now taking any/all shopping suggestions, as I'm sure I will be going back. *nods*
