kielle (aka _redpanda_) died last night. For the last weeks, her husband Chris has been letting us know about her going to the hospital for tests, being diagnosed with a widespread and aggressive colon cancer, treatment options. Last week Kelly herself made a few short posts; then earlier this week Chris let everyone know that Kelly was failing and that she didn't have long to live.
She died yesterday.
I didn't know Kelly very well. She was a bright, smart, funny voice on my flist in both incarnations above, and while I never responded to her posts as often as I could have, I always read what she had to say. At only 32, her voice and her story have been stilled far too soon.
