I went to see TTT with friends yesterday. A friend and her husband to be precise. However, we ran into another friend and her husband at the theatre.
After the movie as we're leaving and the friend I went with says to the other one, "Yeah, Aragorn is just"--Sigh!--"wonderful." Then there is a slight pause. "You know the guy who plays the part doesn't really look anything like that at all." Shakes her head. Shrugs.
Grrrr.... I pull the hood of my coat over my head and try to melt back into its shadows. I hope this will prevent my friend from turning around and trying to solicit my opinion. Though I prepare a response just in case.
"No, on his own, Viggo isn't handsome at all. Just awful to look at. Makes my eyes bleed."
I'm almost sad I don't get to say it.
