LJ Issue

I'm a little freaked out right now because I can't get to my LJ. I'm getting a message that IE can't display the site. Every other site on LJ I'm trying to visit works.

Phew! Thanks!!! I just rebooted, and everything seems fine, but OMG, that was a shock. I mean I could see my other LJ and everyone I clicked on over there was okay, but this one...not so much.

Ummm, I'm running IE 8, and...because I'm willing slave to all things Microsoft. I know my way around their software--for better or worse, so I don't have to think about using it (or learn a new system).

I have Firefox loaded on here too, but I've not taken a shine to it, although caras_galadhon swears by it and sings its praises to me.

I think I tried Chrome on my old laptop that died, and it didn't run at all, and I'm not sure that it would be very friendly to my wee netbook. Google things tend to eat up a lot more resources or run way slower whenever I've tried them.

And I guess I'm being overly protective of the new laptop by still doing a lot of my surfing on the netbook.

LJ has finally sussed you out as the ringleader of the biggest, baddest fanfic cartel ever to appear on the internet and have blocked your access to your journal in anticipation of their big crackdown. If you hear a knock on the door, don't open it. Grab the dog, your laptops, and escape through the nearest window. My advice? It's time to enact Plan X: Fake your own death and start anew as Miss Periwinkle. ^_~
