My taxes are DONE!!!

I can't tell you how excited that makes me, since I'm usually banging out the rough edges at lunch at work on 4/15 (assuming that isn't a weekend). TurboTax was my friend. I owe Ohio almost what I'm getting back from Georgia, so I broke even there, and for the first time in seems like forever I'm getting cash back from the feds.

I am now a much more relaxed Barb than I was last week at this time.

We're... not so much there. In fact, we're edging towards the "OMG!!!" end of things--we have to file an extension, but our accountant hasn't gotten back to us with whether we owe or not, which is kinda important! *sigh* So I'll take all your stress from last week, thanks...

Stupid taxes. Stupid quest. Stupid IRS.

You know, I've heard A LOT of people saying that they were waiting on their accountants this year and were likely going to have to file extensions. Maybe that's always going on, but I've heard more of it this year than ever before.
