OMG!!! Tonight I get to make the little day for today go all dark in my LJ calender, meaning i've made at least one post each day. Woot! One day has four posts, and there are a bunch of others with two and three. Once I hit "Post Entry," I imagine I will be grinning like a loon for a moment or two. Hee.

Other than that, I just wanted Tabatha, which also makes me happy on many levels. I can't believe some of the salons she goes into. Like i can't believe they have any customers at all. I like going to the salon. I like chatting with my stylist and having her play with my hair, and if I walked into a place as filthy and cracked out as some of those places, my ass would never even get into a chair. I'd run, not walk away.

Ripley is still loving her Hide-A-Hoot. I am too. Glee!

Since it's January, it's pay dues for my various writing groups, some of which had a deadline of...today. Good thing "Stop procrastination" wasn't a New Year's Resolution, or I'd be sunk. I also think that I might have gotten unstuck on the stalled novel. I don't see the path clearly yet, but I see the problem. I've been thinking one plot thread is the main arc when, in fact, I think it migiht be a subplot instead. I need to do some brainstorming tomorrow about what that means, but when the thought hit me, it was one of those, "OMG! OF COURSE!" moments.

Now, it's off to pack my gym bag and then sleep. I didn't sleep well last night, so I'm hoping that means tonight will be more peaceful.

Isn't it nice when stories decide they're going to go a completely different way than you intended and make your brain play catch-up?

It's annoying but cool at the same time. Annoying because, well, it should be listening to me! Cool because, at least I know it has some life in it.

Congrats on the daily posts and on becoming unstuck with your novel!

Phew. I need to get some momentum going with it now. I was hoping the daily posting would help to set a writing routine. And it sort of has, but I haven't had it yet spill over into the fictioning.
