I have officially dubbed this weekend the Weekend of Catching Up on Things. That means ther will be grocerying and laundering and cleaning. There will be email and comment replying. There better be some writing after the planning. I sort of want to just crash and play video games and read and just sink into other people's narratives. However, while that sort of play is necessary and good, it's also a distraction.

I also need to order HBO so that I can have it for Game of Thrones. OMG. Is it Sunday yet? Is it Sunday yet? IS IT SUNDAY YET???

Also on the agenda is biking. I've missed close to two weeks of fitness class with ICFA and being bogged down at work, so I need to work on some strength circuits this weekend and bike. Kick the metabolism into higher gear. I'm crashy a lot when I get home in the evening, and while I know a lot of it is stress from the office and me not taking enough breaks away from my desk and the maelstrom that is whirling around me constantly, I also know that I'm tired of it. And need to be better at stepping away, taking a breather, not running through the day like it's a mad sprint.

Back in the news in PA, my sis told me that a vetrinary assitant was arrested for...fucking a horse. Apparently, the act occurred in Oklahoma while he was in vetrinary school, and it was captured on video survellaince in the stable area. For interested parties, this sort of thing results in community service, surrendering one's vetrinary license to practice, and having to register as a sex offender.

*snorts* I guess being watched in the act by your supervisor is enough to spare the equine the trouble of pressing charges.

Do you have a stationary bike, or a mobile one?

Also, ick on the horse. Gah.

Stationary. I usually get up to speed, then once I'm moving along, I crack a book and read on the "journey."

What amazes me is how many horsefuckers there are out there. I mean, WTF, people.

You have to just sit back and go, "Dude. What the fucking hell were you thinking? You couldn't come up with some other way of dealing with the party going on in your pants? Seriously?"

Good luck getting caught up on everything... that's always tiring.

Clearly, I haven't done such a bang-up job on it. I'm ashamed at how behind Ive gotten on comments.

I'm going to plagarize the name Weekend of Catching Up on Things :) I too need to launder and correspond and shop for groceries...I'm amazed that I've managed to make it through the week on what was left in my cupboards.

Good luck with the biking, I'm back in my own workout schedule after ICFA and it hurts.

Actually, I limped through the week really needing to grocery shop. I ate not healthy things, but I did get rest. And clean laundry.

My lofty goals were too much for my unlofty ambition for the post-ICFA weekend.

Wishing you well on the upcoming weekend filled with purpose.

Will avoid like the plague the last bit. But, erh, yeah, the penalties are always good to know.

Jeeeeezzzzzz, folks. Surveillance is everywhere now. Remember that.

People do a lot of stupid things. On a frighteningly regular basis. I know I do sometimes too. Thankfully, nothing quite that stupid.

The sad thing is (having processed hundreds of Sex Offender Registry searches) that you can get on that list for totally non-sexual-assault charges.

I will say that most of the sex offender cases I see are the high-powered offenses and people who are on them are on for good reasons, but the way the registries work leave some really weird loopholes.
