Day 03

In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you have created. It can be your favorite fanworks that you've created, or fanworks you feel no one ever saw, or fanworks you say would define you as a creator.

I haven’t been updating my fic list on my profile page. Another thing to add to my project lists for 2016. Because I can find them easier on my AO3 account, I’m linking to them there.

Broken by Darkness – Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Poe Dameron/Kylo Ren, NC-17.

An alternate version of Ren torturing Poe for the information about where he hid the starmap.

Space Assassins Series – Lord of the Rings RPS, Viggo Mortensen/Sean Bean. NC-17.

This series started as a single fic for a fic exchange, and it grew from there. It’s an AU science fiction story where Sean and Viggo are assassins for hire. It starts out smut heavy, but starts shifting over to more story in later parts.

Showing Skye – Agents of SHIELD, Skye/Melinda May, NC-17.

I wrote this for a Yuletide past, and it’s one of my favorite femslash fics.

Strong and Neat – Alien Series, Ellen Ripley/Dwayne Hicks, NC-17.

Another Yuletide fic. My recipient wanted the team who escaped at the end of Aliens still alive and together.

Teaching Alistair - Dragon Age: Origins. Female Cousland/Alistair/Teagan Guerran. NC-17.

I picked this up as a pinch hit this fall, and it’s probably one of the more complete threesomes I’ve written.
Way back in days of olde
There was a legend told
About a hero known as Galavant

Square jaw and perfect hair...
Cojones out to there...
There was no hero quite like Galavant

Tough, plus every other manly value...
Mess with him, he'll disembowel you.
He ruled in every way!
A fairy tale cliché!
And people called him Gaaaaaaa-laaaaaaa-vaaaaaaaaaaaant!

Yep. Today was the Season 2 premiere of GALAVANT. Even though the show didn't pack in the numbers for Season 1, ABC renewed it. And there was sport made of rating of live views vs. people watching other ways. Season 2 was missing the catchy theme song from Season 1, and while the song would have to change, I was sort of hoping that they'd keep the tune and change the lyrics.

On the negative side, I'm not sure this episode was as funny as the ones from last season. However, on the positive side...
